Dear Ellie

During the course of the pandemic, access to the various forms of financial support from Government, whether through the cancellation of business rates, the Coronavirus Job Retention scheme, or through grant payments, has been vital to ensuring your pubs' survival.

We have called on you for information via our surveys throughout 2020, and will continue to do so, taking your voices to those in the heart of Government.

Most recently, we have received feedback from you, our members, surrounding your experiences in accessing grants from your local authorities. We have been sharing specific examples with Government ministers and officials and want to get a more comprehensive picture across our nation's pubs, to enable us to push for faster payments and wider access to the money you are entitled to.

We are asking for your help in completing this flash survey, enabling us to take data surrounding your grant application experiences to BEIS and the local authorities who are distributing these funds.

As a BII Member, we want to ensure we are doing everything we can to support you. We will be sending a further survey out shortly to find out more about what you need, what you want from the BII and how we can help your business to survive and thrive once restrictions are lifted.

Thank you in advance for your time and contribution.

Your BII Team
